You might as well embrace that this is the person you are going to be forever.
Comic-Con Gizmo
If you haven't seen Gremlins, you might not understand how adorable it is to be able to carry around Gizmo in his collectible Comic-Con tote while he's wearing sunglasses and a little Comic-Con pass. If you haven't seen Gremlins, I am also going to punch you right in the pants. You can get this little guy from the NECA booth or later on eBay for what will surely be an unreasonable price.
Geek Domo Qee
Over at the Dark Horse booth, you'll be able to get this SDCC 2011 exclusive Geek Domo Qee. Though Comic-Con isn't for a bit yet, these are already showing up on eBay for $50. A bit much to ask for a two-inch figure, but look how cute!
Swamp Thing
Mattel's Swamp Thing looks like the best sculpt this beloved character has ever had. Now that he's currently the main focus of post-Brightest Day DC, we can all remember how good Alan Moore's Swamp Thing was and go back and read those instead. Expect this figure to cause sweaty fist-fights at this year's SDCC.
Harley Quinn Mimobot
It's no secret I super-dig Mimobots, the licensed minifig/USB drives currently representing for DC. It is now no longer a secret that one of the main reasons I wish I was going to Comic-Con is to get my meat claws on this Harley Quinn USB drive, done up with the upcoming Batman: Arkham City video game in mind (get that). You'll be able to get one of these, provided you're one of the first 800 at the Mimoco booth.
Neville Longbottom
Poor Neville Longbottom gets no respect, even when the chosen one could have just as easily been the shy horse-faced boy instead of Harry Potter. This miniature bust is just one of the many SDCC 2011 exclusives from the fine craftspeople at Gentle Giant.
Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 Minimates
You don't actually have to show up at Comic-Con to get these toys. For those of us who aren't trekking out to San Diego, Toys R Us will start selling these exclusive MVC3 Minimates online on Sunday, July 24th--the last day of Comic-Con. In case you can't name them just by looking at them, what we have here is Morrigan from Darkstalkers, Red Hulk, Stealth Iron Man, and Zero (Mega Man).
Rusty and Dr. Venture Figures and Lunchbox
If you watch Adult Swim's The Venture Bros., you're already ordering this. Featuring a young Rusty Venture (for my money, that is the best sourpuss I have ever seen on a toy or in real life) and his father, the amazing Dr. Jonas Venture Jr., this figure set comes packed into its own lunchbox. Though this will be for sale at Comic-Con, you can order it directly from the Entertainment Earth site--if you can wait until November to get it.
Scott Pilgrim Variant
Mezco, you can keep throwing Scott Pilgrim toys at us until we're dead. We'll keep buying them. Fuzzy coat variant? Consider ten million sold. This is another one that has somehow shown up on eBay before the show. Sorry, but I wouldn't trust a dude prepared to ship something he doesn't already own. Head to SDCC to pick this up, or if you must eBay, at least wait until people can legitimately get them.
Google Android "Windows Are For Suckers" Plush
Alright, the best thing about this suction cup car buddy is the name: "Windows Are For Suckers." Get it? It's like, two different meanings in one. If you're a big fan of Google Android, you'll want to cop this Comic-Con exclusive from Fugitive Toys. Just prepare to get nasty looks from the guy who puts the Apple sticker he got with his iPod in his back window. If you want this, you'd better run right to that booth at SDCC: only 100 of the $25 toys will be made.
Vintage Kenner Star Wars Jawa
If you're a fan of the original Kenner Star Wars toys (and any true toy lover is), you'll dig this 12" Jawa with vinyl cape. Premium members of Gentle Giant's buyer's club can pre-order this now; rebel scum will have to wait until SDCC to try and cop this.
If this Giant Man packaging can't warm the frostbritten cockles of your fat-choked heart, you can just go on right to hell. Right now. Go on. The mini versions of the Mighty Muggs vinyl figures I own an embarrassing amount of, these Mini-Muggs based on The Avengers MUST be mine. If you can't get to SDCC, Hasbro MIGHT have a few of them available on their website after the con. Act fast, though, seriously.
